Dear Madam Master (of Poetry),

Between the funny robe and the funny hat and the title “master,” I think you can drop the words “like” and “except” from that last paragraph. Let’s call a Hufflepuff a Hufflepuff. (Or is Ravenclaw more accurate? I dunno… I only read the Cliff’s Notes on those books… You’re the credentialed expert.)

I probably meant by the time anything’s over: camp, contract employment, prison sentence, grad school (I listed those by ascending entrapment, can you tell?)

I probably would have gone for the prequel to grosse point blank meets…

Actually, I’m just going to stop there and say someone should definitely make the prequel to grosse point blank.

–Are you sure you didn’t mean “by the time grad school’s over”?

Also, I agree the 16 Candles doesn’t fit, but what would be a better comp.? ‘Saw’ meets ‘Pretty in Pink’? ‘Misery’ meets ‘Footloose’? This requires careful consideration.

Nice post, Magic Sam. Worried for those in Carolina (north and south) who fought the good fight and are getting lumped in with those they disagree with….worried for Colorado. Hoping all of this results in a national backlash– right? Not an accident that Obama endorsed same sex marriage today!

Twitter seems to show that people against NC amendment one are actively grieving for their home state, as you are for yours. It’s a sad day. (Yes, just used Twitter as evidence for the psychological state of a voting population. Hello 2012!)
