About MM
That’s me!
I refuse to write in the third person. I like talking to, yelling at, laughing at, appreciating towards, and generally communicating with all sorts of things– including things that cannot hear me and will never talk back. Like my computer. Or microwave.
And I don’t like varmint. See the letters to weasels and seagull (singular) and is there one to squirrels? There should be. I really don’t like squirrels. Raccoons, however, have a little small spot in my heart because they look like bandits and that’s cool and also they use their paws a lot.
One last sentence starting with “I”– I believe strongly in punctuation and spelling. And usually grammar. If you find any errors, I do sincerely apologize.
Dear Mr. Postman is mine, all mine, and I enjoy it. If you do too, please let me know.

How would that “small spot” in your heart feel if said raccoon scurried creepily into your personal space as they so frequently tend to do???? Probably smaller, miniscule even.
You know, It could be said that raccoons prompted my move to NY. It’s untrue, but it could be said. Fact: I’ve never seen one here. Another fact: I have seen about 57,000 rats.
I still think I come out ahead on this one.
definitely, definitely not ahead. rats carry thousands of communicable diseases. raccoons carry one. and they only transmit via bite. rats transmit via being dirty, squeaking, giant festering things with long tails and missing patches of fur that lurk in your walls. they have brought the plague, they have infected our ships, they have terrified women, children, and men alike. they make no differentiation between good and bad, moral and evil, they haunt this earth like a scourge bringing news of the apocalypse…
you’ve been descriptor-ed.
it is a very, very small spot in my heart anyway.
Where’re you going with this, MM? You fascinate me! We stand on opposite poles on most subjects, yet I am drawn to hear your voice~ for once, an intelligent response laced with humor… touche!
